Aurora is the Senior Assistant Director for Inclusive Excellence in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She has an M.S. in Molecular and Integrative Physiology and an Ed.M. in Education, Policy, Organization, and Leadership from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a proud Puerto Rican with experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM and higher education. She is passionate about promoting equal access to education and opportunities for historically marginalized student populations.
