UX Design for Web Developers

Friday, April 8, 11:00am-12:00pm

People often ask, "Do UX designers need to know programming and computer science knowledge?". Then, what about the reverse question like "Do developers need to know UX design?". The answer I have found for this question is that if developers have basic UX design principles such as usability, utility, accessibility, desirability, they can create anything with the best interests of their users at heart.

Most developers are familiar with the terms "UI design" and "UX design", but few developers know that those two words are interchangeable. A better understanding of UI/UX design allows developers to collaborate more effectively with designers.

In this presentation, I would like to share the lessons I have learned, the resources I have acquired, the steps to improve your UX design abilities as a developer, and the necessary common sense of UX design for developers.
