Submit a Presentation Proposal
Presentation proposals are now being accepted for the 2020 University of Illinois Web Conference!
Are you a web programmer, designer, content strategist, web administrator, UX designer, IT pro, programmatic manager, social media marketer (you get the gist!) with an interesting topic, project, or case study to share? We’d love to have you present at the 2020 Web Con!
Navigate this exciting landscape with us by sharing lessons learned, guide posts for emerging technology, and the necessary tools to skillfully practice topics in your field.
Submissions are due by Monday, August 12, 2019.
Someone from our coordinating committee will let you know by mid-December whether your proposal has been accepted.
Presentations can be high tech or low tech. You may present with up to two other presenters (three total). If your session is accepted, all presenters will receive free registration to the conference on April 8-10, 2020. This includes admission to pre-conference workshops of your choosing, admission to the networking reception, and admission to the main conference.
April 8-10, 2020
The Illinois Web Con is hosted at the I Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign situated at the heart of University of Illinois’ Research Park, a technology hub that supports startups, tech incubators, Fortune 500 company extensions, and more. We’re proud to call the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the micro-urban, twin cities of Champaign and Urbana home. A 2019 study measuring the startup ecosystems of an 11-state region called the “Silicon Prairie” ranked Champaign-Urbana No. 2 out of 42 communities analyzed for startup and entrepreneurial activity.
