When managing multiple websites under a single brand, having a flexible design system is key. Temple University has a mature Drupal component framework that needed to be replicated in Figma so that internal groups at Temple could sketch out new web pages, allowing them to experiment with content while easing the path to development. In this session, we will walk through how we organized, architected, and built a library in Figma with dozens of components, variants, properties, and styles. We will highlight some differences between Figma and CSS, workarounds, and demonstrate how the library allows prototyping new pages in minutes.
