Aurora is a proud Latina with experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in higher education. Currently, she serves as the Assistant Director for Inclusive Excellence in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences at UIUC, in addition to being the Academic Advising Coordinator for the Education Justice Project, a college-in-prison program. She helps companies and higher education institutions develop and implement inclusive initiatives, projects, and hiring practices to enhance their professional climate. She is passionate about equal access to education and opportunities for historically marginalized populations and incarcerated students.
