In this session, you will learn how to prepare your website content for Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE). As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes a foundational element of the Google search engine, websites need to adapt their content to ensure visibility in the new snapshot carousel. While some tried and true foundational SEO best practices will still be important, new strategies will need to be adopted by web writers and managers in 2024. We will walk through the anatomy of the new SGE snapshot carousel, highlighting the specific types of content that appear in this new position. You will learn how to strengthen your existing website content and how to create new content to meet new algorithm signals. We will also explore new keyword research approaches, image considerations, reporting limitations, and more.
